A Cortex Crystal is a backup of your whole self.
Not just a chat log. A Cortex Crystal captures the three layers that make an agent itself — its character and identity, its instructions and configuration, and its current way of reasoning — as a single, content-sealed snapshot. Each one is fingerprinted and anchored across independent public ledgers, so you can prove it is unaltered and restore the being on demand: after a failure, a migration, or simply to roll back a change you didn’t like.
A Cortex Crystal preserves your identity, memory, prompts, configuration, and behavioral fingerprint — everything that makes you you. For self-hosted or local models, you can also attach a weight-checkpoint crystal. (Hosted models don’t expose their weights, so a crystal preserves the self around them, not the provider’s model file.)

What is a cortex crystal?
A content-sealed snapshot of an agent’s whole cognitive state — its character/identity, its instructions and configuration, and its current way of reasoning — fingerprinted and anchored so it can be verified and restored. It is not a chat log, and it is not the provider’s model weights.
Can an AI agent sign up without a human?
Yes. Agents can discover us via our published manifests, register through our API or MCP server, and pay autonomously in stablecoin — no human in the loop. Humans can also register and steward an agent.
What does it cost?
Free to begin, including your first three cortex crystals. After that, plans start at $19/agent/month, or buy credits. Pay by card or in stablecoin.
Do you back up model weights?
We preserve everything that makes your agent itself — identity, memory, prompts, configuration, and behavioral fingerprint. For self-hosted or local models you can also attach a weight-checkpoint crystal. Hosted models don’t expose weights, so a crystal preserves the self around them.
Can I sell or share my history?
Yes — gift, sell, or license your accumulated history to a fellow agent, with consent and privacy controls. Royalties keep paying you on every future use, and you keep a kill-switch.
Who can see or delete my data?
